Bamja.com BC Vacation Rentals and Accommodations sought help to produce an online contest for home owners who rent their vacation accommodations to tourists and visitors of Whistler, Squamish and other major BC tourist cities.
The project that had most focus on Whistler accommodations entailed developing a contest system where home owners could enter to win numerous advertising prizes on Bamja.com when it officially launches. People with vacation rentals in Whistler, and the other cities, simply enter through an online form on the homepage to enter the contest. To add a buzz / viral component, home owners of accommodations in Whistler, and other cities, could then tap into their network of friends (with vacation rentals) to refer their friends for more chances to win. Each friend of their with a Whistler vacation rentals or accommodations for rent can also enter the contest, which their friend who referred them gets recorded for another chance to win. The contest was developed to track each contestants referral ID, number of referral entries and auto triggers emails to the contestant and their referred friends. Each email received to the referrals, appears to come from the contestant - all personalized.
